Founded in 1950, the Austin Lawyers’  Auxiliary is a dynamic group of people interested in exploring and supporting our community. Together, we enjoy touring the most fascinating cultural and historical locations in central Texas, attending live stage performances, and sometimes just meeting for lunch or a casual evening get-together. Working with the Austin Bar Association, we also contribute to our unique Austin community by helping veterans, Dell Children’s Hospital patients and their families, and children in foster care. In addition, we support the next generation of community advocates by offering scholarships to distinguished U.T. law students. For over 70 years, ALA has been combining fun and friendship with a passion for Austin and all it has to offer.
